Not all rooms are of the quality that the brochure or Booking.com shows. As you can see, my single room was filthy - the window caked with cobwebs & not cleaned in years. Lots of mildew in the bathroom & the noisy extractor fan clearly hasnt been cleaned in 2024. Lumpy mattress, extremely noisy - both friday & saturday nights there was music playing from a building next door until midnight. Corridor doors slam shut and wake you up all night. Wouldnt recommend based on the dire room provided
Awful staff from the porters Lodge to the extremely rude front of house at breakfast just a terrible experience with rude arrogant men with a complex
Students accommodation. Big rooms, massive desk, window. However, housekeeping is terrible. Glass marks all over table, bathroom filthy. Definitely would need hovering again too. Outdated. Good side-it’s excellent location, tasty breakfast.
