It is a nonprofit cooperative and is one of the largest of Florida s 15 electric cooperatives. CHELCO provides service via more than 3,300 miles of power lines. It was established in 1941 and is headquartered in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. It also serves portions of western Holmes and eastern Santa Rosa counties in Florida via offices in Baker, Niceville, Freeport and Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.

Everyone is always pleasant, wants to help - they are ready to go out on call and get the job done quickly. CHELCO employees are the best.
