Had someone from Chimney Works & Rocky Mountain Stoves out to inspect our fireplace and were advised that we'd had a chimney fire that would take nearly $5k to fix. Got a second opinion only to find out that there never was a chimney fire, we'd been lied to, and shown a picture of someone else's chimney. Buyer Beware.
Chimney works is incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. We’ve been using them for 5 years now and every interaction has been way above our expectations. If you have a chimney, definitely give them a call.
By repairing the gasket that was knocked off my insert by the person cleaning my flue. I've got a clean flue but my insert is now inoperable due to an inadequate seal. I've called several times to try to get a person out to repair/re-install the gasket but so far no luck.
