Our son was admitted on May 4 and stayed one night. We stayed in Daerth tower on the fifth floor. The staff was amazing. We loved them all, they made everything so easy to understand. The staff seemed to help us to be okay emotionally, our child is only 10 months old. We were panicking. One nurse stood out, his name was Jeremy. There were also memorable doctors and respiratory therapists, although we don't remember their names. Thank you for taking care of our son.
They were great! They were very good to our son. The only thing is the waiting time we waited for over an hr just to be discharged. And there was noone to be found at any desk. Maybe they can bring this to someone's attention. The quicker you get people discharged the quicker you can get more of thw sick patients back. But childrens hospital and UAB is amazing!!! I recommend to anyone!!
Never again will I use this doctors office. Rude office employees that always have an attitude and make you feel like you are an inconvenience to them. I have been trying to get my daughter's records transferred for OVER 3 weeks so that she can continue her first year of shots and check ups. I have called every other day and still no records. The receptionist I talked to yesterday said she was faxing them while we were on the phone. Well that was a LIE. The records are still no where to be found. Now my 4 month old daughters... read more
The staff make you feel at home my child been going here for 12 years and they love him the staff love all the kids like it was their own kids
My 2 month old had surgery to open up his airway to help him breathe better. The staff was sooooo nice and really seemed to care about him.
My 3 month old had to come to the Emergency Department (8pm) because she was having choking episodes and blood in her spit and I took 3 hours before she got a room (10pm) and then they decided to keep her so it was 3:15am before we go moved to her room... if it wasn't for the long wait ,considering the issue, I would of gave 5 stars because the nurses and doctors are AMAZING!!!!
