My grandson has MCAD and has to be treated at children's which is a 1 1/2-2 hour drive for us. We would drive 4 hours to get the treatment that we get at children's hospital. They are always ready for him when he arrives and if they don't have a room ready they are very attentive to his condition in the ER. He is usually admitted to the 6th floor at dearth towers and I can not say enough about how wonderful those nurses and entire staff are on that floor. I have a highly combative autistic child and they really were understanding and treated her the best they could.
My son has some tests done there yesterday and all the nurses was very nice.
I have a hydrocephalus shunt & just recently had to get it revisioned & Dr.Rocque & his team really took good care of me. 💙
Anytime we have surgery at Children we have the most loving nurses taking care of us during our stay. We are always kept up to date during the process and they are there for all of our needs...
My 14 month old son is here in ICU & was sent from pediatrics in Huntsville. I was scared at first but the nurses & doctors made us feel right at home & are taking excellent care of him! I would recommend this hospital to anyone & dont plan on returning to Huntsville pediatrics again.
My 2 year old was at children's due to not being able to drink or eat anything for several days. The whole staff on whole was very fast and pleasant. But Jenna Mcdonald was in my room seeing daughter that night. She was AMAZING. Made me and my husband comfortable with the diagnosis and connected with my little one on a personal level. Very happy with our trip there.
