Great place for kids excellent staff have always been great to us all very respectful saved my granddaughter life several years ago don't mind the drive for this wonderful hospital

The staff is amazing! Children's of Alabama is unlike any other hospital I have gone to. It takes a special group of people to be patient, kind, and loving and not give up when your child is in pain after surgery and is having trouble taking meds or liquids to prevent them from getting dehydrated and won't swallow. One of our nurses sat down, talked to my daughter, and fed her ice cream. Another was able to finally get some pain meds in. They tended to all our needs and concerns. The staff here is awesome! So much patience, love and compassion. My granddaughter was having problems with swallowing due to pain after surgery, but the nurses worked hard to make her feel comfortable in doing so. They never gave up! Thank you so very much!
My daughter had dental surgery there and the staff were so nice. They were friendly, caring, and professional. They answered all my questions. Dr. Nassett even called when we got home. And he did a wonderful job on her mouth. I was very well pleased with everything.
Both times I've ever been I had to wait 5+ hours. Neither time did we get an actual diagnosis.
