I have a 6year old son whose been going to children's for a lil over 4yrs... He has epilepsy and the Nurses and Dr. Are awesome in Pediatric Neurology we just love Dr. Pongkuate and staff so far we haven't had a bad experience with anyone at children's... My stepson went for the longest pooping himself even at school. The doctor at pediatrics east kept on prescribing him meds and on seeing him for the same reason, they even prescribed him meds that conflicted with each other. We ended up having to home school my stepson because of this issue. It took a doctor in Gadsden to say "hey this is ridiculous they should of sent this boy to a specialist why haven't they?" My son has been seeing the Neurology department since he was 5 years old, he is 18 now and I hate the day that he has to start seeing someone else, they have so good to him over the years.
There 4 hours never seen doc..was put in a room no doctor
They have been really good to us we were rushed by ambulance from CRMC and my daughter had surgery and the whole staff has been awesome and the Drs were great about coming in and keeping us updated great group!
