Most intelligent caring staff I have ever encountered. From flight crew to nurses to security and housekeeping staff. I do not have enough words to say how wonderful and thoughtful everyone has been. ❤️
I did not have a ton of experience with CHP until recently when my youngest ended up with a skull fracture. Everyone on staff from the ER to the PICU to 6A we're AMAZING. The nursing staff was OUTSTANDING. The group of men and women who are part of the nursing family at CHP not only helped my daughter through her stay, but also helped me. I could not recommend them more. 💖
I took my daughter there with chills, body aches and a temperature of 103, they sent us home with no test performed, just saying it was a simple cold with flu -like symptoms. 4 days later I took her to her pcp and she diagnosed with having bronchitis and given meds! I will not take her to children’s hospital again!
Sadly this is the only game in town for children. If your child has some medical condition other than a routine problem or cancer CHP doesn’t seem to want to care for them.
It’s a shame I have to get answers from a smaller hospital vs a big hospital for kids and putting me in a room with a kid with the flu when my daughter isn’t even 3 months yet! I give this place no stars!
