Child care of America didn't really help me with child care as much as let me have the chance to be the voice for the children. To Advocate for children; I was given the chance to go to Washington DC in 2017 and to experience things that I normally would not be able to experience. Between Child Care of America and Washington State Assosiation of Head Start/ECEAP I thank you for showing me and giving me the opportunity to see my voice matters and..... I WILL BE HEARD!

Child Care Aware of America has helped me feel like I can make a difference in other families lives. Education, policy changes, and advocating make a big impact and without this organization these things wouldn't happen.
Trying to work with this program has been the worst experience. It almost seems as though they intentionally make their application process so difficult and convoluted for military families that it deters us from using the program. I have been attempting to get my application processed for months and still have not been able to make any progress. First off, they ask for a huge amount of documentation that is difficult and timely to get. I went down to the base and had a finance officer help me twice and print docs straight f... read more
