Any information about where your family stands on the waitlist would be a great improvement. We started our application in February and were not even aware that there was a waitlist until August, after several email inquiries. At the very least, tell people how many families are ahead of them to receive this government subsidy.

I get excellent help and responses every time I call. The set up process, as with anything, was new to us but the reps were great! I have always gotten a polite, professional rep on the phone who was able to help me. It is one of the few times I can remember calling an agency such as this and reaching someone who really seemed eager to want to be helpful. Thank you!

Our initial experience was ok..we got approved assistance within a month of application, requirements are pretty basic and the website is user friendly..the only problem and delay anyone might experience is when the provider is not “nationally accredited” or listed on their list of approved providers. They will conduct a thorough review and see if you qualify for an exemption to policy. They gave us an exception to policy because there was no approved daycares or CDC’s within 15-20 miles of our residence.
I think that the idea of this program is amazing and the assistance is very much needed for military families. The problem is that the process is terrible and timely and out of all of the dozens of times that I have had to call I can honestly say that customer service training is desperately needed.
