A cool place to hang... – IF you can deal with a wait. It's not the place ot go for a quick meal. But if you like a loud, fun place with great food, go and have a blast! Can be a little pricey depending on what you order. Don't go in there expecting a feast for $20, you'll spend that much at the bar while you wait for a table! Ignore the negative reviews here, obviously some people don't know how to go with the flow and have al ittle fun!
Free Beer Bribes – The food was good, but dont go expecting to catch up with your friends--management escorts you out when you overstay your welcome (an hour)...he will atleast give you a pitcher but for 6 people, cmon now.
Great hang spot – Great place to hang with friends and get some good food and drinks. Try the mussels in red sauce...
some one's thought's – Disagree,food is not that good let alone great!!!! The price of drinks is a little above average and the GREAT PETE HIMSELF COULD US A PERSONALITY MAKEOVER... The reason he's so successful is because of 610 WIP Radio host Angelo Catalli who for the record is awesome and it's a chick hangout. Sorry if you disagree but that's my take on it.
crab fries w/ cheese, please – A great place to hang out, but oh, the wait! But it's worth it! As they say, "It's more fun to eat at a bar than to drink at a restaurant".
good hangout in NE Philly – Chickie and Pete's is a good place to hang out and watch a Flyers or Eagles game. try the pork sandwich, hardshell crabs and the famous crab fries.
Even if you don't like sports (like me) -- this place is a lot of fun with a group of friends.
FUN! – Fun place, always crowded, which is good and bad. The bring out your food faster than anyplace on earth. It's amazing. Great place to watch a Philly sports game.
Great Food and a Fun Atmosphere – My friends and I go to Chickie and Pete's quite often. The food is great, especially the crabs, and the beers are always cold. The karaoke every Monday is definitely a fun time!
