Worst Bar In Philly – I have been to C & P's three times too many. I will never go there again. The staff is extremely rude, the service is slow, and the prices are outrageous for what you get.
POOR FOOD – THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. THE WINGS WERE ALL DRIED OUT AND THE FRENCH FRIES WERE COLD. THE STAFF WAS TOO BUSY GETTING DATES FOR THE WEEKEND THAN TAKING CARE OF THE PATRONS. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL CHAMPS OPENS UP DOWN THE ROAD. COMPETITION IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL AND WOULD BE GREAT FOR THE HIGH AND MIGHTY PETE
Sure Bet – Chickie's always has a nice looking, friendly crowd, and the food never disappoints. A great place to meet friends for a few beers and a bite.
Best Sports Bar Around – Chickie's & Pete's Cafes are the best sports bars I've been to. All three locations: Robbins, Boulevard and South Philly are great. Terrific Food, Drink & Atmosphere. I'm from Chicago and every time I'm in Philly, I never miss a chance to go there. Service is great, too.
The Best – The people that serve you ; Pete; Tommy; and all are terrific. The food is good and priced well. The atmosphere is the best. I love the Packer Ave location. I LOVE CHICKIES!
Neat place! – I agree - you don't go here for the service but I didn't even mind it and they're so busy. I had to send back my overboard on the Tabasco Bloody Mary and they fixed it right up - no problem. I had the crab legs. Wow, what a mess! But sooo worth it. The crab fries are awesome (and I don't even care for fries). And the garlic shrimp were very good too. Be prepared to get messy b/c everthing we had was eaten by hand. great food, great value – cheap, good seafood & casual atmosphere. chickie's is the one place i always visit when i'm in philly!
Looney Booney's Thoughts – My friends and I make our way over to Chickie's (as we call it) every Monday night after work. We love Monday's becasue it is karaoke night. I personally and not a huge fan of the stage but my friends love it. They over the last few months have become Monday night legends at Chickie's. It is a great atomsphere and the staff is excellent. We go there to cool off, watch the games and just have a good time.
Food, Hotties, and Football – This place is as good as a Coors Lite Commercial. Tons of hotties. You'd swear that they don't let a female in if she's not stripper material. Great food too. Gotta love the shrimp and the rock lobster. Giant Screen TV as well as regular size throughout the restaurant. All that and beer too.
