Mediocre Seafood and Bad Service – I have been several times and each time was not a good experience. The food is nothing to talk about and the service is even worse. I am a person of color and not once have I seen another person serving, bartending or hosting and forget managing. I was there this past Saturday and to my surprise they had employed a person of color to work as the bathroom attendant. Is that all we are fit to do in this establishment? worst service ever! – This is the first time I have left a message and I just had to because of the horrible experience I had a Chickie and Pete's. The waitress was extremely rude. The entire time she obviously had no patients for customers who had never been there before (and will never go back). After we payed the check she came back to clear more from our table and said, "You guys have to get going. We have a lot of people coming in tonight." Always a good time – Great place to hang out with friends. I enjoy the various crab dishes they offer. Nice selection of beers to wash down your meal. High energy atmosphere is perfect for watching the big game. Only problem is the crowds on the week ends. Get there early tp avoid the wait.
VERY OVER-RATED CRAB FRIES – Its really no more than a neighborhood-type, overcrowded (we had to wait for almost 45 minutes for a table) over-rated, beer-guzzler type of sports bar! In their defense, my older brother was here visiting from Miami and he loved it. He' s a major beer drinker/sports fan/likes loud sports bars/bachelor kinda guy. Got Crabs? – I used to live in Philly and I don't go to Philly with out a trip to Chickie and Pete's. This is one of the best places I have ever eaten. I take everybody who I bring back to the old neighborhood to this place and I have never had 1 complaint. Crabs,mussels in red. -I drive 2hrs to eat there and drive back.Its that gooooood.
FUN PLACE TO HANG OUT – Food is good & atmosphere is condusive to a good time. Try the crab fries & wash it down with your favorite beer!
the worst of the worst – not sure what the popularity is with this place...its dirty ...the bathrooms are worse then an old gas station..the bartenders cant make drinks..the food is terrible...they claim to have invented "crabfries" which are just just plain french fries with oldbay season on em.. they only use plastic forks, plastic knives and paper plates.. over all its just bad on all levels
you gotta be kidding – This place is a dive..the service is poor, the food is bad, the televisions are small and the place smells like lysol.... our waitress was very rude and could care less about providing any type of service to us. ..me and my family will never go back again.....and those so called "crab fries"....what a joke
ok food----annoying staff!!!!!!!! – Just isn't worth the trip !!! Food is ok at best. Mussels are good but everything else isn't that good! Wings are horrible if you ask me !! Crab fries always are good but the staff there is very ignorant ! Would not recommend!!
