I waited over 5 hours with a back injury and ended up leaving!
Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff we encountered at Cheshire after bringing my 21 year old son in through the ER in the middle of the night. Dr.Hansen , Dr. Pattinson and Dr. Gross were all thorough, kind and treated My son with respect, speaking directly to him and taking time to explain medical procedures. The nurses in the ER, 3rd floor and recovery as well as lab staff and CAT scan couldn't have been nicer or more competent. I went there in a full blown panic attack, hyperventilating, in pain they take my info leave me sitting in waiting room for almost 10 minutes in that condition, not to mention I have an aortic aneurism, then into an office for more questions that are already on file, then walked to an old xray room where I was shut in for 7 hours with little to no attention, no blanket, no water and what felt like no monitoring. only to be told don't know what's wrong we think it's muscle strain. 3 days later still in pain, having trouble mo... read more
Patient care... its not just a heading...
Doctors in L&D are rude and treat you as if you don't know anything, they diagnose you with something life threatening and then the next doctor will tell you a different story. Emergency room staff are rude and don't care to attend to young, sick children in a timely matter. This hospital is a joke.
I am on Tramadol (opiod pain med for my RA and neuropathy). In order to get it refilled, you could only call it in to the doctor if you had a day or two left. The clinic has changed it's policy for refilling prescriptions from a day or two to five days. I didn't realize this because pain meds were filled differently. I called it in on Thurs. and here it is Tues., I have no pills, my body is in agony. I will soon have withdrawal but still can't get it filled. Been on this kind of medication for years.
