Specialties Imagine a system where care is based on value, not volume. Imagine a health system grounded in population based strategy, not market share. Imagine a health system that rewards quality, not quantity of procedures. Imagine a health system where patients, when well informed, receive only the care they want and need. Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H) is a nonprofit academic health system that serves a patient population of 1.9 million in New England.Across the D-H system, we annually have more than 1.7 million outpatient vi... read more

Everyone there was so nice to my dad. The cafeteria had great stuff.
I think it is a wonderful place to go for all your needs every body there is so nice and helpful
I am inpatient now and I feel so grateful to be here. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable The hospital is so clean, the rooms are spacious, the dining is like fine dining. I have special dietary needs and they know how to treat me. Food is great...I was transfered from another hospital...and am very thankful. Excellent place.
Lyme's Disease and it's associated maladies are arduous enough for one person to face, but while away from home, it becomes an intolerable experience and places a patient in desperate straits. Dr. Hansen, and Amanda, one of the Emergency Room E/R staff nurse's, made it a little more bearable for me. From the clerical staff to the supporting allied healthcare staff, Cheshire Medical Center E/R was a respite in my dire season of health. I can not begin to express my gratitude for all the outstanding care I received in a moment... read more
I grew up here and never liked it. This hospital is the worst one yet. Nurses are rude and disrespectful to people! You like it cool not me.
The er is ridiculous sat there for 5 hours and never got seen ended up walking out I will never return there again
Terrible service ; sent my Uncle home in more pain than he went there in . Kidney stones that required surgery , and when they couldn't reach the stones they just shoved a stint between the kidney & bladder and hoped for the best . Had to go back the same day to the ER due to immense pain and bleeding . THEN THE ER SENT HIM HOME . When someone goes to a hospital they expect to be treated fairly and cured , not given mediocre treatment due to lack of insurance and then sent home in excruciating pain . Will never go here again... read more
Had a broken collarbone. The surgeon suggested letting it heal on its own. Four weeks out, it's not healing so the recommended putting in a plate, but they aren't scheduling the surgery for another four weeks - 8 weeks walking around with a broken bone that isn't healed, all based on their erroneous recommendations. What happened to stopping pain and suffering? Seems like it's more about policy and procedure. Thanks for nothin
