I recently purchased an Exposure Amplifier. An independent HiFi shop with an excellent range of products & services. The owner has vast experience and knowledge, ideal for both those that are starting on their Hifi journey & others who already have a system & looking to upgrade. Service is provided to a very high standard, a credit to the audio industry.
Rega Planar 3 brought back to sound better than it has for over 30 years. I can only echo the other reviews and comments on here about how knowledgable, genuine and very cost effective Philip is. Sadly what the deck is doing is showing the limitations of the amp and speakers so at some point I predict another visit … Well done Philip and Thank You.
Rega repair. He didn't do as I asked.That's because he did loads more, then charged buttons for the repair I took it in for. (I do mean buttons, as a week later I'm still pinching myself that really happened). I said the cartridge may need replacing. He said, no it's fine (sale lost), how many businesses would do that? So I think, if you want to get some new equipment, get good advice, not from a sales kid or just the stuff that makes most bucks profit, this is the place to go! Ken
Philip is one of the most genuine and helpful guys in the audio industry and that's a very special and rare thing these days.
