In the early 1950's, mill worker Hysen Chelo purchased a piece of property as an investment. Hysen's four children thought that land investments were unwise and envisioned a restaurant on that site to support their growing families. Thus, Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille was started in 1955. Bar service has a lot to be desired. Slow service at the bar for sure
I had an excellent burger. My friends each had the chicken pot pie and raved about it. Nice selection of drafts and the service was excellent too. We sat at the bar.
Good old down-home hospitality I loved it.oh by the way I was headed back home to Washington DC
A great atmosphere filled with a wonderful staff. The bartender that takes care of me on Sundays, is always super nice and makes my drinks perfect! Kind, polite, and always on top of things even with a full bar. Kudos to her. ( wish I remembered her name ) :-/ GO PATRIOTS !! :)
