Great atmosphere great people and great wisdom provided by Mickey and his crew here for principles you can use to defend yourself as well as life in general. Highly recommend if anyone is on the fence. You will not be disappointed

Absolutely amazing place. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Mickey is an incredible instructor. Not only is he incredibly skilled, he is an absolutely gifted teacher. I have and will continue to recommend this academy to family and friends interested in BJJ.

This academy is awesome. It is very welcoming of all skill levels and ages. I have been going for a long time have been nothing but pleased with Mickey's teaching style, demeanor, and knowledge of the Jui Jitsu principals. He also has several high level students that assist with teaching that are also cordial and respectful. I highly encourage any one considering a martial art to try Chattanooga Jui Jitsu Academy first.

The students at this academy are not only taught jiu jitsu but they are taught to be verbally abusive, harassing, threatening, and vulgar. (Especially toward women) There are no such things as bad students only bad instructors so I would definitely recommend blalocks Imb or Atlanta Martial Arts Center instead. There you can learn jiu jitsu and learn to be humble, be the embodiment of a real martial artist. Chattanooga jiu jitsu academy might as well be the "cobra ki" dojo from the karate kid movie. Just terrible.
