Well what a disappointment The bedroom was tiny. The smallest double bed I have seen. No room on one side to get in and out of the bed. Pillows uncomfortable Decor plain but at least room was clean. Dinner Sunday evening- we both enjoyed our starters but the main was a disappointment - lacking in flair when catering for non meat eaters. Fantastic service from start to finish. The food was excellent. This was for my partner’s birthday celebrations and a good time was had. Located on the river, the location was perfect to walk to from our accommodation in Ludlow ( just 5 minutes walk ). I highly recommend a meal out at this place.
Lovely hotel right on the bank of the river. We visited the restaurant only. The food is lovely. Hot and delicious and professionally served. Would love to go again.
Loved this place , sitting in the restaurant next to the river within 10 mins we saw a dipper , kingfisher. Water rail , mergansers , the food was fantastic we had duck wellington, honey glazed carrots with delphinoir potatoes and a bottle red wine , the food was amazing seriously good , loads of parking spaces breakfast was really good , my only gripe would be check in 3pm checking out 10.30am it needs to be 11 min but i will definitely be going back 100% stopped here 11/10/2025
We had a lovely stay at The Charlton Arms Hotel after a day at the races. The food was absolutely superb, definitely 5 stars without a doubt. We were a large party and shared a good selection of the starter and main menu. It was all fantastic. The highlight for me was a chicken and duck wellington which I'm still day dreaming about.
