We had a wonderful stay at Charcoal House in May 2024. The house was beautiful and immaculate and was the perfect setting for a countryside getaway. The location was perfect for us - close to coniston lake and some lovely pubs! Thank you Simon and team for welcoming us. I’m sure we will back in the future!
Wonderful accommodation. Well equipped, clean and plenty of room to spend quality time together. It is very quiet and peaceful. Just lovely. You can do a decent walk from the door, so no need to move your car. There are three fridges so you can arrive fully stocked for your stay. I would definitely recommend that as the house is in the countryside. The host leaves a little packet of biscuits for each guest, some tea bags and coffee sachets, and a small bottle of milk so you can have a drink on arrival. Would definitely recom... read more
