I just wanted to share my experience in buying a SCR with Channel Islands Scuba in Southern California. The gentleman i bought this unit from was Mike Schechter President / SSI Instructor Trainer (Recreational, Extended Range). I unfortunately had to cancel going through with the class as a family emergency had come up. I asked Mr. Mike, for a refund and he informed me that he would try and sell the unit. Bought something today from them in their store. If it bothers you that a business would have the gall to put "Let's Go Brandon" on their receipts, don't bother to do business with these people. There are plenty of other reputable and helpful scuba stores around.

Try Scuba was an awesome experience! I'm definitely going to look into their certification program. Mike spent his holiday morning with me, teaching the basics in the physics and equipment function, and explaining anything I wanted to know. After getting the gear on we got in the pool & went step-by-step to get safely and comfortably to the bottom. I learned how to adjust my buoyancy, & he brought out hoops to swim through, had a torpedo to throw and practice maneuvering around, & took pictures that I can keep forever :) the... read more

These guys really know their stuff and the customer service is on point. I had a great open water dive certification experience. I’m looking forward to continue my SCUBA education with them.
The Open Diver Class was amazing! Great instructors and so much useful info. Laz is so knowledgable about all the gear and really cares about how your gear fits. Instructors are all great and really enjoy what they do. Highly recommend CI Scuba!
