I just finished my Open Water Certification and had an incredible experience. Mike, Laz and Larry made the process easy, enjoyable and stress-free. From getting fit for the proper gear to the in-class sessions to the actual water dives everything was explained to make sure I was knowledgeable and comfortable with every step of the process. Channel Islands Scuba just amazes me. The number of products and services they offer is amazing. The best part about it all is that I know when I purchase a product from them they will take the time to answer all of my questions, even when that product was purchased months ago. They are there to help you become a better, safer, more intelligent diver.

Channel Islands Scuba is second to none! Professional staff, quality training with top notch instructors, and they have a full service dive shop with the finest gear in the industry. These guys are excellent. The owners are intent on getting you safely certified, and are extremely flexible. They were willing to move things around so that me and my daughter could finish the class even though we had some conflicts. The dive instructor was patient, knowledgeable and had lots and lots of dive experience. Overall, my experience with CIS has been fantastic. I have already signed up for an additional certification.

I recently got open water certified with the wonderful Jay Fischer and Trav and they were fantastic every step of the way. They make sure you are comfortable and safe every step of the way. Diving is such an amazing experience, it is life changing I highly recommend this experience. Laz is also great at the shop, he will help you out and hook you up with the right equipment. I can't wait to come back to Channel Island Scuba and get additional certifications, advanced open water and wreck diving are on my list next!

This was an excellent adventure! The staff is personable and professional. Laz was helpful with all the gear. Larry Gould was a great instructor! It was a small class with six participants so there was a lot of personal attention. We did two pool dives, a beach dive and three boat dives. The gear was top notch. Also, Trav, Jim Miller and Eric were very helpful and offered key tips. Overall it was a huge success. This is the most professional dive store in Ventura County!! Their professional staff will gladly spend the time to make sure you are a comfortable and safe scuba diver . This is the only dive store I would recommend in the area!!

My 15 yo daughter and I just finished our Open Water cert yesterday. I can't say enough about the instructors and staff at CIS. Tim and Doak where fantastic instructors, and Mike and Laz were very attentive to diver needs. Thank you!
