Professional and kind. Had torn rotator cuff and had a lot of pain with any movement. After meeting Chad I new he would take good care of me his words. Chad did exactly that, thank you Chad. Rehab was great with Grace, exercises and stretching followed at home. In my 70 years this was a piece of cake compared to other surgeries.
Dr. Waits was excellent- reassuring me about the 2 reverse shoulder replacements. Results far exceeded my expectations and am now able to do what was impossible prior to surgery. Minimal pain and much faster recovery than I anticipated. I have total confidence in Dr.Waits. He always had time to explain and address any concerns. My life is so much better now than before surgeries. I am so grateful to have such good results.
I’m 71, have struggled with right knee problems. In April X-ray showed bone on bone. Dr. Waits office helped me through decision for full knee replacement. I had my surgery in late April and am so glad that I did. The orthopedic program from pre-op to surgery to PT is very personal and hands on. I’m in my 14th week of recovery, playing golf with no pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Waits and the orthopedic program. They are the best!

Dr Waits explained the procedure and told me the pain in my right shoulder that I had for ~5 years would be gone and it was. He is just a “regular guy” with an amazing talent. The best part for me is he answered every question and concern how ever long it took with no rush out of the office ——- just incredible. I had both shoulders replaced in 1 year. The first one went so well that I didn't hesitate to have the second one replaced. Dr. Waits is an exceptional surgeon and if you leave his office not completely understanding your procedure and recovery it is because you weren't paying attention. He goes over everything until there should be no question regarding your care. HRH is fortunate to have a surgeon of his caliber on staff
I’ve had both my knees replaced , one in Terre haute , the other in Danville with dr waits There is no comparison to how much better it was going to dr waits He is part of a total team effort When your appointment is at a specific time, you are seen at that time . The surgery itself was so much better , the pain management was top notch I would recommend to anyone to go to dr waits Hands down a totally different and for the better experience with dr waits
My first visit was memorable. I needed shoulder surgery and Dr Waits explained everything to me in terms that I could relate too even drawing me a diagram so show me what was going on. Surgery went very well and that was 9yrs ago. In 2021 I needed knee replacement surgery and went to him and was very comfortable in the surgery. It also went well and if I need any more surgeries of the kind will most definitely go back. I would highly recommend Dr Waits to anyone that needed help.
Dr. Waits is an amazing Physician. He and his entire team are extremly kind and professional. They answer any questions you may have before you even need to ask them and never miss a beat on following up with you. Patient care and recovery is absolutely 100% Dr. Waits proiority!!
