I am a very active 61 year old. My hobbies are very physical and require strength, my right shoulder was easily aggravated. I have been a prior patient of Dr, Waits. I had no hesitation in a consult about my options moving forward with surgery and recovery time after surgery. I am 4 months out prior symptoms are gone, still working on strength. I could not be more excited about the outcome. Dr Wait's is very good about answering any questions or concerns.I worked with Shane at the Brownsburg Physical Therapy location he kept... read more

I can’t recommend Dr. Waits more highly. He listened to my concerns and fully explained my procedure. I was thoroughly prepared and knew what to expect during recovery. Follow up after surgery was great. I appreciated the number of follow up visit to ensure recovery was going well. If I need to have my other knee replaced I will go to Dr. Waits again.

My initial visit with Dr Waits was very reassuring, He was confident and willing to spend time to answer all of my questions. This was my first surgery ever so I was apprehensive and not sure about moving forward. However, I am so glad I did! The day of the surgery he stopped by and was very upbeat and didn't seem overly rushed or all business, and of course although I didn't see him in the operating room I am confident of his expertise because I have had such a great outcome. At this point I am roughly 4 months post op and ... read more

Dr. Waits thoroughly explained the process and the ultimate type of replacement that would occur after he was doing the surgery because the MRI was not clear on whether it would be a total replacement or an opposite type replacement. The surgery went well and following it I had very little pain and bruising. I was able to do most things after 6 weeks and after 3 months I have complete use of my arm and strength to do what I did before but without pain. I am able to sleep on either side without pain. He is very personable and... read more

I’ve had both knees replaced and a bicep tendon repaired by Dr Waits. He’s a top notch surgeon and has a great staff working with him. Very caring and compassionate as well. Pre-op and post-op care were excellent. He said if I followed his advice I’d be better in 6 weeks- I was!

Dr. Waits did my total knee replacement surgery one year ago. My physical therapist was very impressed by how well I got along. I credit the majority of my successful replacement to Dr. Waits and a little bit to my hard work at therapy. He is very professional. Dr. Waits explains things to you completely and gives you all the information to make up "your" mind. He gives you all the facts that you need to know. Dr. Waits is so nice and kind. If you are in need of a knee replacement his is your man. A friend just had her total... read more

Very nice and professional. Went in with a miniscus tear in my knee. Mri results confirmed that. He said he could fix it, but I didn’t have a lot to work with. Said I needed a knee replacement. Why do 2 surgeries. I didn’t go back for a couple years because I felt pretty good! Well then my knee have out and went and seen Dr Waits. He greeted me with welcome back! Are you finally ready? He is so kind and made me so comfortable. Surgery was a success and he did an amazing job.

Dr. Waits just performed surgery on my right shoulder. As I had with my 4 previous surgeries, it was a great experience which includes his entire staff.

I had severe pain in my right knee for several years--went through physical therapy, shots, etc. I did not want to have surgery. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Chad Waits. Dr. Waits explained all of my options, took his time, was very professional, thorough, and I felt comfortable during my initial visit. So, I decided to have knee replacement surgery. The surgery was very successful--good results. Before the surgery I was unable to bend my knee, get in and out of my car, or do gardening. Dr. Waits helped me get back to... read more
