My name is Chrissy Coles and developed CP when i was 4 or 5 years old. I use to go to physical therapy and speech classes during school. I use to wear a brace on my right leg that did help me to walk better and stop falling. With this condition, i did finish high school with a diploma and went to college. Then in 2012, God gave me a blessing which was my 2 year old son.

My son was shaken at 3 months old by the babysitters son. He was in a induced coma for 4 days because the hospital gave him a antiseizure medication that later they found out he was allergic too. The doctold me if he wakes up he would be a paralyzed from the neck down or in a vegetable state. Well he woke up and was diagnosed with CP and Gid has allowed him to still be here for 21 years and still going and i thank him for that.

I am the mother of a child with cp. She is 35 yrs old. We went throught a lot in her younger age. She had to have surgery until she stopped growing. She walks with a limp but she is walking. Thank God things is as well as it is. When you think you are doing bad there is always someone doing worst. We are blessed. By God Grace and Mercy we are doing great.
