I think that this is a fine community and i thank you all for sharing your stories and bringing people together for support and encouragement to to all of the beautiful people living with cerebral palsy! To know that there are other people out there living with this and having some safe place to share or even vent with people that really understand and could offer that kind of support is a Real Blessing! :-) LOVE and peace to everyone of you!

I have a little girl, 5 years , who was borne at 28 weeks and weigh about 2 lbs. she had a brain bleed of grade 4 and we were told she would not walk, talk, sit or stand but God has touch this girl and the only thing she is not doing yet is walking. Her legs are tight and we haven't taken or done anything for the tone yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what worked best for the first thing you tried?

I have a 15 year old with cerebral palsy and just reading stories on this page is refreshing and liberating. My son shares many of the same symptoms as the other children on the page. I am glad I ran across this page.
