I have a Son who is now blessed to see 15 years old. He was born a month early. At birth he coded three times, but God sent him back to me. The doctor also said that he would be mute, he would never walk or talk. That was all wrong, he communicates by hollering, screaming, or laughing. My son Aiden was born with a mild case of CP. He didn't walk until he was almost 3, but is doing amazingly now. He's a bright, handsome 6 year old with a positive outlook on life!
I have mild CP that affects my entire body, but mainly my legs. I was made fun of all through school and even nursing school. I also have been made fun of as a registered nurse. I used to wonder why people make fun of others, but have realized that the ones that make fun are the ones who feel bad about themselves and their lives and want you to feel bad like they do.
