I have CP. I was born 3 months and 3 weeks early. I weighed 2lbs and 4oz at birth. I wasn't supposed to be able to walk, talk, or be able to function independently. I am now 22 years old. I walk with crutches and use a wheelchair for long distances. I am pretty intelligent if you ask me. My oldest daughter has CP. When she was 4 days old the doctors said she would never live off the respirator. We decided if she was going to live it would be by Gods will. They let me turn the switch off. I held her for 48hrs. She lived. She just turned 33. While she doesn't sit up, walk, crawl or talk and gets feed through a tube she is the brightest girl ever!! My sister has cp . She can't walk nor talk but she is my whole world. Doctors said she wouldn't make it to 12 years old but she will 32 in November
I have a younger brother that had CP and he was the best thing in my family lifes. My younger brother died at the age of 25, if he was still here with us he would have been 27 today and he would be playing cars with his nephew that he loved very much. I miss my brother and I would do anything to have my loving brother back with us. I love you Travis Hamilton.
I am a 27yr old man with spastic diplega. I know this is a little unorthodox but I am without a job or a license the last few months have been a little bumpy. I have some college credits but things are getting really hard for me and my family of four. I am from upstate ny Queensbury actively looking for employment. I know God and my determination will see me through these trying times just wanted to reach out thank you.
I may have been born with CP & there are alot of people who don't believe in us but there's a lot more who do believe. And with or without them I would still have started my company BigRayisArt.
