The cedar ward at Rugby St Cross is just fantastic. From the lack of care you have at walsgrave, it was super refreshing to see such a well ran ward. I went in for elective surgery and the nurses/HCAS were attentive, kind and cheerful. Morning rounds done on time, surgical team fantastic and medication was never missed along with obs. Discharge was efficient and the physio team are just fantastic. Thank you all.

I rang this ward by mistake looking for a patient admitted to Cedar ward. The staff nurse couldn’t have been more helpful in trying to locate this patient, even checking other wards for me when the details I gave her failed to bring results. Eventually I realised I was speaking to the wrong hospital, and was mortified how much time this Staff nurse had wasted on me, when I could tell she was also ensuring her own ward patients were getting their care, so I was mortified and very sorry. Fantastic ward!!..multi ligament reconstruction this time round and the staff on Cedar are faultless can't thank them enough for their care! numerous surgical procedures in a number of different hospitals and this by far 1 of the better experiences.. nothing was too much trouble. massive thanks to Claire the ward sister u all do an amazing job there

I recently had a full knee replacement on 9/1/2023, I spent two nights in the cedar ward, and just wanted to pass my thanks on to all the staff who were brilliant, took great care of me showed me kindness, thank you very much
