I lived in one of the properties managed by this company in Pensacola, Fl. Crystal Lake Apartments. When I moved in almost 3 years ago, the management was AMAZING! Everything got taken care of right away. I am in the military and was away for travel most of the time and found out that they had switched to BH Management and had brought new staff in. The new staff was friendly at first, but then, when I needed certain things done, like getting my AC fixed; it would take a while to get things taken care of. The office is always... read more

Hello, I've read the reviews and must say, I'm perplexed as I live at Lakeside villas in Orlando Florida managed by BH management and this group is awesome. I know there are a different set of managers running different properties, but our group shows empathy, professionalism, attention and are very friendly. Our management team smiles at everyone, greets everyone and actually listens to you, they really support you. My apartment is not emalculate and could use some TLC. I am renting from BH Management in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In the community San Merano at Mirasol. I am having terrible experience with Management of this community. I have complained to management that people should not have dogs off leash on the property as it causing disturbance to everyone an also causes dog fights. I provided an example of one neighbor who let dog off leash at all times and management doesn't say anything. This company on behalf of Oakdell Way Townhomes sent out a letter regarding final balance and sent me to collections within 30 days. I received the collection letter before I received their letter with balance. I contacted them to dispute some of the charges since I had moved out the beginning of the last month with proper notice, but they felt it necessary to charge for utilities that weren't being used. This company is very hard to work with and hide so much right under your nose. I lived at The Flats for a year which is owned by BH Management. Upon signing the lease I was given the option of non-refundable or refundable deposit. It was explained to me that the non-refundable deposit went towards damages if there were any. If there were not any damages then the deposit would not get funded back to you AKA non-refundable. After moving out I received a bill with no deposit applied to it. Hello! The non-refundable fee is not applied towards any damages. It is designed to lessen your up front costs. For instance instead of a $400 deposit, you would pay a $200 fee. This is spelled out in the deposit eliminator addendum.

I recently moved into the Piedmont at Ivy Meadow Apartments in Charlotte, NC. I viewed and purchased this apartment virtually, online. Because at the time, I lived in Scranton, PA. And online and virtually it seemed to be as nice as it were advertised. However, that was the worst thing I could have ever done! These people should be put out of business! They get 0 stars! I would give Marisol Vista, an apartment complex with BH Management, zero stars if I could. Since day one I have had problems with this apartment complex. I put a deposit down for a mid-upgraded unit that I toured, only to be moved in to a "classic" unit that was never upgraded since the complex was built. I should have backed out then. When we were moved in to the correct unit, I ended up not knowing we had mold and had been living in it for 10 months. That would explain why I was literally sick for 6 out of those 10 months... read more

I for the first time in like 10 years forgot to pay my rent on time a couple of months ago. Apparently we get a grace period of 3 days. I missed even that unfortunately by 1 day. I get an email on day 4 saying i was late. Ok why is it the office staff can send me an email telling me im late but not remind me lm day 2 or 3 rent is due? Ok so i was able to get it reversed. Was told one time only. So i paid my rent a bit earlier and didnt realize i was like 14 short in my bills account when i submitted payment. I had the money.... read more

The $12 charge is because your account does not show to have an active renters insurance policy as required by the lease. If you do have current insurance, you can submit to the office to show no lapse in coverage

I have been under this management maybe a month now and I have had an issue with them going into my account for a rent payment after an agreement was made I would pay my rent late this one time which they applied a late fee of a 100.00 more dollars. This was not only unprofessional but a lack or remorse as well especially during a pandemic. I don't understand the lack of morality or standards from businesses in today society.
