Best brisket in town. Hands down. Run by the greatest people as well. Always amazing
This BBQ is a somewhat religious experience. We arrived in DFW for a 20 hour layover and asked Reddit to recommend some BBQ. The person who recommended cattleack kept emphasizing arriving at 10:30. I didn't think much of it until I realized a restaurant open 8 hours a week had to be something truly special. I arrived at 10:25 and the line was 15 minutes long. Had the beef pastrami rib for lunch. They didn't remove the membrane, therefore it's was a bit chewy. Heavy flavor in the seasoning and too much sodium for my taste bud.
Seriously this is the best BBQ in DFW and it's not even close......... Cattleack is right there with the great BBQ joints from the Central Texas/Hill Country region of the state and if you've eaten at Franklin, Micklewaits, La Barbeque, ect. you know that's some pretty high praise. Do yourself a favor and eat at Cattleack you will not be disappointed......
