A great shop, for a great cause too. Staff incredibly helpful and kind hearted. Couldn't be happier.
Most women don't need any help when in a tiny clothes shop and clearly just looking. Then when two members of staff both stand staring at the only black person in the shop while all the other customers are left to their own devices, and then giggling nervously at each other when they didn't know how to respond to her comment about their display cabinet in the window, it really is shameful in this day and age. This is the best charity shop in Harrogate. The staff are so lovely and they put effort into curating nice selections of clothes so you're not sifting through random scraggly bits and bobs for ages, which I really appreciate for a charity shop to do. I've bought quite a few things from here that are nice quality and have been very happy with them. Definitely worth a visit :)
They offer purely new clothing from what I’ve seen, which is good. But not my personal choice. They price things fairly given what they are but it’s just not my sort of thing, I’m charity shopping to get a bargain and be sustainable whilst also donating to the charity and sometimes the dead stock feels a little over priced. They also lack variety in terms of sizing, so I struggle to get anything above a M size (men’s). The men’s section is also on the smaller side.
