Extremely rude woman behind the counter. Shame because it’s my favourite charity but the other reviews speak for themselves. If you can’t be nice to the public, you shouldn’t be in a public-facing role.
My 16 year old daughter has volunteered here for a while now and has put up with so much rudeness from the manager. She speaks to the volunteers, old and young, like absolute rubbish, no respect when they're working very hard for free. Very high and mighty attitude and thinks people are her servants. As for the prices they charge, you're better off buying new!
Why no display for D-Day? This will probably be the last time the veterans will be around to testify to the horrors they saw .Have noted none of the charity shops nearby could be bothered either.Is this a London thing ? I'm sure that north of Watford it will have been a different story !
I gave a cat I found to the local cats protection in April- Ashley very sweet and loving boy. Who was later transfered here to Blackheath we later talked to them told us he had been transferred, microchipped, vaccinated and neutered and his meds have been changed and his seizures are getting seemingly better so everything seemed to be running smoothly. Then we asked a couple of times about Ashley again he's still doing good. Until we asked again recently how he's doing and they told us he had a tumor and had to be euthanized... read more
