Had Sunday lunch here for my daughter's birthday. The food and service were both excellent. The waiting staff were amongst the best I have every experienced. Young staff, who were professional, attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter, Will, went above and beyond to make the occasion so lovely. Thank you, Will. Highly recommend Castle House.

Really recommend this hotel. Lovely reception area / restaurant, lovely staff, I booked the single room and was so pleasantly surprised! Really great room with large bathroom. Little hamper which is complimentary, Sherry, cold water, restaurant recommendations - just all the attention to detail really makes the difference. Immaculate hotel and in a really lovely part of town. Thank you!

You're a Condé Nast hotel for a reason...right! We stayed up in the Townhouse a separate building 50 metres away from the main hotel but nonetheless very good. Our room was cosy (which we knew when we booked). If I'm being picky I consider a double bed (we had a small double) could fit in the modest sized space but it was very comfortable all the same.
