An absolutely fantastic way for kids to learn about history
Brilliant day out in living history. We went with kids age 7 and 10 and they had a fab day. Thoughtful interactive displays in the forest and people living authentically medieval in the buildings. My kids baked bread, learnt to shoot arrows, made pottery etc absolutely brill day out

Really interesting place to visit. I have mobile difficulties so they gave me a lift up to the village and I managed to have a good look around using my stick. There is a member of staff called Keres who explains about how they lived in great detail in the Iron Age and her talk was really informative and we really enjoyed it. There is a great cafe also there and they do cappuccinos and really yummy cakes. We had a .really nice time. Would recommend.
