Maybe I had high expectations for a Waldorf Astoria property, but for the cost of a stay this property shouldn't be so outdated. Landscaping needs help (dead plants) and there is no wow factor.
The adult pool is warmer water, a little quieter, but on a typical summer day in key west, The family pool is more refreshing! Beach service is great early in the day. The bar is steps from the sand!

Awesome pools here. Separate pools for families and adults only.
Get breakfast in your room and get a pitcher of juice and a bottle of Prosecco for mimosas.
The outdoor space at this hotel is great.
If you are staying here and want beach time, go next door to the Waldorf Reach for a much better beach.
