We have been coming to Carry Farm for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better and better.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The accommodation is beautifully curated and designed around the lovely vistas, add so much sensorially and gently encouraging us to relax. We took local walks and swims, enjoyed visiting the gallery, feeding the donkeys and reading/ resting in the peaceful surroundings.....
We had a lovely break at Carry Farm. It's a fantastic location. Fiona was very helpful and friendly. The cabin was nice, comfy and had everything we needed. We also thought it was very good value for money. The only thing we really struggled with was the induction hob (despite instructions!) and the lack of an electric kettle (I drink a lot of tea!). t's a shame the coffee shop at the farm had closed for the season when we were there as this would have been a nice addition. Beautiful location and quiet. Close to the sea, ideal for crabbing. Just 4 miles away from one of the best beaches I've seen in the UK and basically have it all to yourself. plenty of good biking routs and local fishing trips are available. Cabins are clean and practical. Owners are also helpful. I went with my 4 year old son and had a great time.
One of the best things we could of done for ourselves and our family, I had heard about this sailing school and lodging from a random person I sat next to on a plane on my way to Spain. What I loved while my child was in sailing school we could stay right on the property. The owners literally thought of everything, the cabins are thoughtfully decorated with quality pieces, handmade loomed blankets, and real pieces of art from a family member. Quality over quantity.
