Half the battle... (Verified Renter) Half the battle of renting is the people you have to to business with. Heidi made our transfer to a more accommodating unit painless and seamless.

(Verified Renter) When the prior qualified long-term staff were at Carriage Place, we residents knew all of them, things were done right the first time and they were responsive and kind (Ashley, Brittany, Katie, Greg). Simpson Housing would do well to pay attention to their long time residents instead of continually raising rents and shuffling employees through the office and maintenance staff. Word of mouth spreads quickly thru the community.
I feel like... (Verified Renter) I feel like the policies are not friendly towards tenants. We went to Vegas and came home with bedbugs. The language was vague but in the end we paid for extermination but did not get to choose the vendor. I would have rather used a heat treatment. We had a resurgence of the infestation a month and a half after the treatment and of course that wasn't confirmed later but we basically lived in half the apartment for five months. It was hellish. The community itself... (Verified Renter) The community itself is laid out nicely and is well-lit and safe feeling. I also love the location, right across the park!
It is a... (Verified Renter) It is a very well kept and safe neighborhood. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that I live on the bottom floor and the wood creaking can become annoying.
This is my... (Verified Renter) This is my 3rd time renting at Carriage Place when I sell my houses & need place to stay. I recommended Carriage Place for my sister this year when she was remodeling her house. Upkeep is very nice.
Past access to,... (Verified Renter) Past access to, scheduling of and availability/performance of the apartment maintenance staff has been a disaster during my nearly year of residence. Today the new staff member was courteous and caring and i was told you are hiring a third staff person. If this continues into the new year, I will seriously consider recommending this development.
