We have had two very enjoyable holidays in Carpenters Cottage. Its peaceful location is ideal, combining a rural feel with a short, picturesque walk into Matlock to access all the local amenities. The cottage is comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. We find it a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding countryside and villages. We are planning to go again in the near future.
We have really enjoyed our stays at carpenters cottage. The house is warm, cosy and well-equipped. It is a short walk to matlock and lumsdale itself is a stunning location. We've enjoyed days out to Wirksworth, Carsington water, chatsworth and many more. It is always great to return to the comfortable and homely cottage. We're already looking forward to our next visit. This is a lovely cosy cottage, well located on the edge of Matlock and very convenient for walking in the Peak district. We have stayed on many occasions and have always found it to be spotlessly clean and well equipped with excellent facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the central heating is very effective in winter. Two parking places are conveniently located. Strongly recommended.
A fantastic cottage in the Peak District, it's been our go to cottage for over 12 years.
