Carmax is yet another sleazy car dealership, but they are, in my mind, worse because they claim that they are not. Maybe if all you're doing is buying it's a great experience, but if you're doing a trade-in, be ready for a miserable time. First, they will offer you far below what your car is worth, but wait- in big print below that, it says if you purchase one of their vehicles, you will receive up to $1200 in tax savings. I went to carmax today to test drive a car. (Had every intention on buying it) But nobody ever helped me. I put my name in line to be helped and ended up leaving after waiting and waiting. This isn't the first time this happened to me. I went two years ago and the same thing.. I just figured I'd try again because everyone has an off day. I'm very disappointed!
