Hired the blue van for four nights to tour Dumfries and Galloway and it was a great first experience in a camper - so easy to drive. The van is well equipped, communication was excellent and Jenny went the extra mile to ensure we had a good trip. She even gave us some doggy treats and a towel for our four-legged travelling companion! Would highly recommend Carlisle Campers to anyone looking for a campervan to hire.
The Silver VW T5.1 (auto) was the perfect size for navigating some of the narrow roads around the Scottish Highlands. The van came well kitted with fridge, cooker, pots, pans, plates, mugs, utensils etc. The toilet was a very handy extra too! Plus extra outdoors chairs and table. Booking and handover was very straightforward and Jenny and Tim were always very helpful providing info and answering questions I had. All round a great experience!
Amazing trip hiring the van from Tim & Jenny for 5 days to explore Scotland 🏴 Excellent communication and handover and the van was absolutely perfect for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our pup!! It has everything you need and plenty of storage for anything else and is an absolute dream to drive 😍 From glencoe to dunkeld, to pittenweem on the coast, this is the perfect way to explore Scotland! Thanks guys 🥰
Had a lovely 10 days touring round the outer hebrides in one of your campervans. It had everything you would need for a few days or an extended trip. I shopped around before i booked and these guys were the best value for money by far. Tim and Jenny were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Carlisle Campers
Weekend Early Sept 2025. We collected the red VW camper for our first family camper holiday. A weekend in Edinburgh with visiting Portobello Beach and Crammond Beach, Edinburgh Zoo and an event at the EICC. The van was fully kitted out with what was needed to make life comfortable and practical being in a camper- a fridge, plenty of storage room, cooking facilities (ideal for a morning coffee with the sea as a view!) and enough sleep space for 3.
