What a lovely comfortable house this is, peaceful and quiet, Sandra and Ted are the perfect hosts, also providing a wealth of knowledge on the history of Whitby, very interesting.
The Captain's Cabin is a unique room with double bed, en suite, TV, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities on the top floor of a 3 story house in Whitby. The room is decorated as a ship's cabin with an amazing view across the River Esk. We stayed for 2 nights b&b and had a lovely stay with the owners and their gorgeous lab Milly. A huge choice for breakfast including kippers, full English with any kind of eggs, fresh grapefruit, yoghurt and cereals. Would highly recommend!
Fabulous 2 night stay. Great location & fantastic views from the Captains Cabin. Sandra was lovely & Millie the labrador was cute. Great home cooked breakfast definitely was made to feel like part of the family. Can't wait to return and will definitely be reccomending this place to family & friends.
Had a great two nights staying at the captins cabin, the room was lovey and Ted and Sandra we the nicest couple, so friendly and cooked up a lovely breakfast. Situated in the heart of Whitby, just a short walk and everything is right there, would highly recommend staying there if you are visiting Whitby, we will definitely be booking up again
