This company was selected by my home warranty company to look at my leaky shower valve. After about a week of pestering them to finally make an appointment, their "plumber" walked up to my shower, turned it on and off, then walked back to his truck and submitted a report to the home warranty company. His report concluded that we had performed "unauthorized work" on the shower, which conveniently happens to invalidate coverage under my home warranty. No show. Day 1 - truck is too big to park downtown Columbus. Day 2 - just didn't show. I think that deserves a 1 star.
Would not use again. – I had them out to fix a leaky toilet for me because my regular plumber was on vacation. I had sticker shock when they charged me over double what I usually pay for service. My toilet ended up leaking the next day after they left so I called my regular plumber to fix it again. He said they never set the toilet right when on the last service call as far as he could tell. I definitely won't have them out for further work.
Best Plumbing Company in Central Ohio – I have dealt with numerous plumbing companies over the years, and Capital Plumbing is by far the best. They have always been courteous, professional and timely, and charge a fair price. After dealing with Capital Plumbing, they are the ONLY plumbing company I will deal with! Thanks, CP!
AWFUL No customer service ethic!!!! Beware – I have read reviews and I honestly do not know how this organization receives any positive ratings. My home warranty company contracted this organization to replace my air conditioning compressor. The first technician made it a point to denigrate my home warranty company and stated he was not going to "waste his time" replacing the compressor -- he would only replace the entire unit. Very Professional Company – I would use this company again and I have recommended them to my friends. I had a back up in my basement and they came right out. The technician knew exactly what needed to be done. He cleaned out the main sewer line. When he was done he cleaned up after himself. He even wore those caps over his shoes. The price was exactly what he said that it would be before he started. I liked that!
DO NOT USE! – A $30 service charge just to get an unreasonable, inaccurate estimate; rude and insulting employees; and terrible customer services means this company should be avoided. Find a local plumber who will be appreciative of the work and will care about the services provided, not one of these 'mega-plumbers' that only care about getting in and out in as little time, with as much money, as possible. DO NOT USE!
Only Plumber I'll Ever Call – I was woke up in the middle of the night to find that my basement had flooded due to the excessive rain. My sump pump had failed and I unfortunatly I did not have a back-up sump pump. I called several plumbing companies but was only able to talk to a real person when I called Capital Plumbing. capital plumbing – I had them come out to install a battery backup sump pump. Of course he wanted me to buy a water powered back up witch they sell. Had to point out several items on the factory installation manual that came with the pump, which he failed to adhere to until I said something. I can say that the company was punctual...so if you want timely, this company is fine...anything else is up for grabs....other than cost...it's high enough to be out of reach.
