Everything here says come on in and relax. Green plaid carpeting, dark wood furniture, potted plants and comfortable booths make this the place to come home to. Thick, juicy steaks, surf and turf (known here as "Tide & Tundra"), and lamb and pork chops are the standard fare. Baked Brie with Raspberry Coulis and Toasted Almonds is about as fancy as it gets. A Rising Star – Went there for the first time earlier this week. Had heard raves and now I know why. The atmosphere is excellent, it's great for 2 or 10. The waitstaff is superb, all your needs are taken care of, without anyone 'hovering'. I'll go to restaurant if the service is great even if the food is just adequate, however, at the CCCH, the food is the best !!! Couldn't find anything that wasn't perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to anyone.
Steak & Beer – Great steak, a killer black and tan, and the best shrimp bisque I've ever put in my mouth. A great place!
Good business dinner – Finding a restauarant that serves good food to a party of 12 in good time with friendly efficient service is tough. Capital City Chop House did it.
Professional service & Fabulous Food! – We held our rehearsal dinner here, as well as some trial dinners before we decided on this place. The restaurant may be in the middle of nowhere but once you enter, you are welcomed and seated and professional waiters with vast knowledge of food and chef's cuisine greet and take your order. The service is very good and the staff is very professional. They made our rehearsal dinner a fabulous and memorable one. Thank you!!!
was a 5, now 7.5 – As for the 01/17/02, the manager (?) in question is gone. So I hope you all will return. For I (an x-cook) will say the management are good now, as for the food, I think it is very good, and the price is competitive.
