This company popped up on my credit report, no idea who they are. I am having a hard time finding out what exactly they are billing me for. It's not exactly "fair credit reporting" when you can't speak to someone, and someone who you can understand would be nice.
I called because Capio has shown up on my credit report. I called and spoke to someone, they could not find my name in their system, so the gentleman gave me another number to call - I called it multiple times and no one answers, but I am supposed to leave a message? I think not. I agree with the previous reviewer how can you slap something onto a credit report without sending bills, notices or anything? An unpaid mediacl bill of which I knew nothing about pops up on my credit report all of a sudden and brought my score all the way down. Do you all contact folks before you do such things? Really unprofessional. Seriously! Now I have to waste my time calling around to see what this charge is about. Only in AMERICA unpaid medical bills of which you dont know anything about pop up on your credit report.

Got a call from a number I traced back to this company. Caller kept asking for me by name but would tell me who he was and when I finally told him yes, I was who he was asking for in hopes he would tell me who he was he stated "I'm calling on a recorded line" and I told him I don't want to be recorded and he stated "the only way he can stop the recording is to hang up" so I told him ok have a good day, good bye and right before I hung up he said "ok well we will just have a warrant issued for your arrest" and I still hung up... read more

I've been trying to resolve a debt incurred by an emergency health problem while being uninsured, the organization (Capio - a debt collector) offered me a settlement of $4K several months ago. I called back today because I had saved the $4,000 and was ready to move forward... They wouldn't accept my $4,000 today as they suggested that I could afford to pay more. Horrible Customer service. I called to pay a $70.00 bill that I found on my credit rating, I spoke to a OBVIOUSLY unhappy Tim. He proceeded to talk over me, and began telling me that I owed $300.00 more. I explained to this (non professional) that I did not have that debt and that I was already dealing with my insurance on that. He kept talking over me like if that was going to help him at all. Cold call out of the blue about a hospital bill for services neither wanted nor requested added to a prepaid procedure after the fact. No documentation or discussion, rude female simply talked over me until she finished with a threat "When we force you to pay it will be through electronic transfer" then she hung up. In the middle of the weekend (less than 48 hours later) these......people.....filed 2 negative reports on my credit rating. I now have absolutely no reason whatsoever to cooperate with them for any reason at all.

I have received a couple of calls illegally from some bs like this is the law offices of mitchell **** and associattes, it was a "Spoof number" our local Area Code and when the black woman with an bad attitude asked for my wife and tried to ask me to ver her date of birth I told them, send it in the US Mail, in Writing as we DO NOT KNOW YOU. And DNC the Number.... now I just saw on Credit report, they are reporting a "discharged" bad Hospital bill, once sold to "GoldKey?" and disputed and case closed. Now we shall deal with ... read more

This business is highly unprofessional. They try to scream over any conversation you have with them. They also refuse to deal with the Veterans Administration to take care of any debts. They do not try to take care of the debts owe to them but would rather harass and intimidate the person they're trying to squeeze money out of.
