Got a call and the person sounded ghetto and was telling me that I had a debt from like two years ago and I won't be paying it back at all it was for medical bills when I didn't have insurance

I have been working on cleaning my credit for a bit. Recently I tried to finance a vehicle and this collection action was on my report. I never received a bill from Northwest Hospitalist Physicians nor have I received any correspondence from Capio Partners. I disputed this with all 3 credit reporting bureaus as well as thru credit Karma and all came back as a verified bill WITHOUT providing me with any of the documentation I asked for. Capio Partners filed a debt collection submission against me on a resolved bill after the state statute of limitations to collect said debt had expired. I issued an immediate cease and desist letter, which was subsequently ignored by Capio Partners on May 31, 2022, when Capio returned a dispute "validation" which does not show my signature of acceptance anywhere on the debt, and shows out-of-date information. They keep telling me I owe a huge amount but I've never received anything about it from my insurance company or the hospital. Rip off artist. My husband is active military my insurance covers any costs for me and my children. They don't put your information down correctly and then send depts that wouldn't never been a debt if they'd put the correct info down that we tell y'all face to face. You guys are frauds.

Capio Partners called my house looking for my husbands ex daughter in law. When I asked why they were calling my house for her (we have not seen her in years and she wouldn't be welcome here anyways) they hung up on me. So I called them back again asking the same question. They said they would remove my number from the file but wouldn't/couldn't explain why they called our home to begin with.

Sneaky. Asked if I wanted to close my account hurriedly and ended up double charging me and FAILED to disclose that this is what they were going to do. Called back and they told me that there's nothing that they could do! Disgusting!

This company is a joke. I had to call THEM repeatedly in order to try and pay my balance and they continually sent the same wrong email. After no less than six phone calls in one hour and them repeatedly sending the wrong thing they finally placed me on hold and came back to explain that their company is "having trouble sending out emails with links". I can't even. I am positive there are fourth graders who could figure out how to set up an online payment system in less than one day. Not Capio partners. They are absolutely i... read more
