Not impress with this hospital at all. Very slow and under staff.
I thought, you know, that you could trust your healthcare providers. Everyone in the LGBTQ+ and intersex communities up here, should be cautious of Rachel Raven, FNP-C. She is NOT inclusive. And Canton Potsdam Hospital stands by the 'opinions' of their practitioners -\-\ whether it is outright bigotry of actual healthcare providers. I am astounded and upset. Had carpal tunnel surgery done very professional and explains everything
Will not patronize a hospital that employs transphobic medical professionals.
Between myself and another family member I have had to visit this hospital 7 times in just a few months. The staff overall is very professional and compassionate and competent as well. Wait times are generally much better than other facilities. It is so nice to see such a well run facility when you've had so many awful experiences at other area hospitals. I think trust is a big factor when it comes to healthcare and I can honestly say I trust the staff here. A good all-round small town hospital.
Over the last 10 months I've had 3 surgeries on my hand (the latest yesterday, 7/27), and am very pleased with the staff at ambulatory surgery and assistants working with Dr. Haasbeek. No fuss, no hassle and - except for the situation, which I never wish to repeat (haha) - highly recommend them.
