ambulatory surgery dept wait times are horrible (several hours) and nobody tells you anything and if you ask, nursing staff is rude and unhelpful. Finally, 2 hrs and 10 mins after they told us to be here, we are finally in a room. wonder how long we will wait in here??? I bet if we were 2 hours late. they would make us reschedule. told nurse that and she said no. yeah right
Had a very bad fall .Could not sit...was sent to Fast track and stood for 1 hr in great pain till my husband blew his top.Next thing I knew was in ER,a CT scan and upstairs with Morphine.They had me leave the hospital with no brace or support for a fractured L4.Also gave me a prescription for Thyroid.NEVER had a problem before with it.Took it for 5 days and quit because of side effects.Went to my Primary who said why did he even put you on them.Your Thyroid numbers were perfect!!! Not happy with CPH...
They assured my siblings and myself that we could have 5-10 more years with our mom. We got a year. The nurses were awesome, but the dr.’s, forget about it, they showed very little interest in what we had to say, not to mention, we hardly saw the actual oncologist, she seemed to have always been away.

This has been the worst experience ever.. the staff has been less than nice to my elderly father too busy eating and ordering food to help Him to the bathroom. Instead tell him they will catheterize him because he wants to use the bathroom because he can’t use a urinal. He would like a drink and and don’t like water.... the doctor was very rude telling him he is not 20 and he can only have water ..... I get it he is in CHF and what not but god dam give him a little break here...... What happened to patients rights and what t... read more
I am so so glad I switched my child’s health care to Canton Potsdam! The ER and her Dr are both incredible!
Figure out what's wrong with people rather than just tell people what it's not and send them home.
The customer services are great, I always feel like I am a part of the family instead of just a person, I have all my surgery done at the hospital.
