If you are really sick or unsure of your condition, bypass this place--go to Syracuse or Burlington...this is a FIRST AID STATION AT BEST!!

Just as bad as Alice Hyde Hospital. They never put patience fist. Make u starve all day waiting for surgery. Who the hell schedules 24 surgeries at the same damn time and can't keep up because they don't schedule adequate staff.

I just LOVE this hospital and their staff. I will only take my daughter Madison Coller to this hospital in an emergency situation because I know she is in good hands with Dr. Turrin and Dr. Mullen. We live in Massena. Thank you all for your hard work I know sometimes it goes un-noticed but there are people out in the community that do appreciate all that you do. Again thank you!

I went to emergency room at canton Potsdam hospital in horrible pain. No one was there . I had to go to a random receptionist and told her I needed help. Instead of finding me help she started asking me insurance guestions. When I was finally taken in they did no test took no blood. They finally got my pain under control and told me it was an absessed tooth by barely looking in my mouth and doing no exrays. My son, a Clarkson University student. needed immediate surgery after injuring himself in a sporting event. My husband and I made the 5 hour trip to be by his side. Dr. Haasbeek and the ambulatory staff of the 4th floor were absolutely amazing. They answered every question with knowledge, patience and compassion. Surgery went great. Dr Jay Dewell is the best General Surgeon out there between Malone - Watertown. His bed side manner is superb. I'm very very impressed. Thank you so much Dr Dewell. I was scheduled to come in at 12:30pm but there was a unexpected delay. Very proud of the anesthesiologist as well. He had a great bed side manner and was very polite and respectful. I know where I'm going for surgery for now on, Canton Potsdam Hospital.

Although the service in the actual lab is excellent, the behind the scenes part of this operation is awful. Last time my husband had blood work done, they had to draw it on three different occasions due to some kind of error. My main complain though is that the lab results are NEVER sent to our doctor. We have a specialist in Saranac Lake who orders tests for us and not once has he received the results. We show up for our appointments only to have to wait (and all appointments for the rest of the day are put behind due to th... read more

Brought my boyfriend to the ER yesterday with chemical burns to both legs and feet, he was taken right in and given pain relief right away, the student P.A. was wonderful! Cleaning any kind of burn is a very painful process, but through it all he did an amazing job, making it a little less traumatic for both of us! and as usual our R.N. Kelly S was wonderful!!!! Thank you both for taking such good care of him....:)
