Terrible stay. Didn't seem very lively upon entering, you could count the people in the bar/restaurant area on one hand, for a Friday night seemed strange and not convincing. The receptionist wasn't very accommodating at all and shooed us off to our room shortly after everything was all okay with check in. The room was small. The mattress was incredibly lumpy, you could really feel the springs digging in and it over hung the actual bed frame underneath which I've never ever come across. Beautiful pub, great food, very welcoming staff. Had lunch here on route to St Ives.

Great little place. Checking in at the bar was easy, and the gentleman who assisted us was very polite. The room was small but perfect for a one-night stay. The bathroom was well-designed with a toilet, shower, and sink. The restaurant provided a pleasant experience, featuring a well in the center. The food was delicious, well-priced, and the service was impressive. The young woman handling both the bar and table service did an excellent job on her own.
