We rented “Robbie,” a modern VW campervan from Campsie Campers, for 14 days starting September 11th, 2025, and it was absolutely perfect for our bucket list trip to Scotland. The van itself was just the right size for navigating Scotland’s narrow roads, and it was super comfortable to drive. Here's the headline: if you're looking to rent a van and you have any chance at all to book with Campsie Campers, do it immediately. If you don't have the opportunity to use these folks, consider rescheduling your vacation. As first time camper van renters, we had little to go in aside from online reviews.
